Retreat to Malibu with Akanksha's Lab

One of Akanksha's labmates has recently moved to a mansion in Malibu. It's not exactly the norm for grad school but she is living with a millionaire. so she invited her lab and significant others for a mini-retreat to her house. And luckily she invited me too since Akanksha and I are basically significant others, at least at work. The house sits atop a hill just back from the water with a 360 degree view of los angeles on one side, the water on another and the entire valley behind. They act like grown up kids up there, hitting golfballs off the yard into the empty hills.
